一、教學目標： 受惠於開放原始碼社群的發展與貢獻，網際網路的技術、概念與實際操作日新月異，從而改變了社會結構社群的方式。從個人的媒體（blog）到共筆系統（wiki）的發展，網路文化已超越傳統多媒體或者互動的設計概念，邁向社會性軟體（social software）和社交性媒介（sociable media）的建構趨勢。本課程將分成兩個部分進行，第一個部分讓學生對全球新媒體景象與網路文化的有廣泛的理解與思考，第二個部分，則是實際在網站架設與建構網路社群的操作中，學習與掌握社會性軟體的基本技術與理論。

三、實施方法：專題講座、案例分析、實際網站製作
四、評量方式：平時課堂參與50％，期末報告50%。本學期將以鹽埕區的數位敘事為規劃設計標的，期末報告之評量以完成網站設計與上線為主，修課同學需於學期末晚整呈現數位敘事的網站計畫與實做。並繳交（3000字以上）有關新媒體、網路文化、自然軟體、社會性媒體與介面，使用者溝通等面向之心得。
