一、教學目標：本課程透過實際撰寫研究計畫與論文，特別是透過有關質性研究、田野方法、文化與社會藝術領域之研究方法之理念、特質、類型、與研究過程及倫理等介紹，訓練研究生蒐集、分析、組織資料文獻的視角及批判能力，培養學生對學術研究與倫理正確的認識，並懂得學術論文格式規範與基本的寫作要領。
二、教材內容：文獻、圖書館資源與研究案例
三、實施方法：講授、討論、圖書館藏與網路資源運用、實際研究計畫與論文寫作
四、評量方式：平時課堂參與報告50％，期中報告15％（含課堂口頭報告），期末報告35%（口頭加書面報告）。學生必須每週閱讀文獻資料，每週繳交閱讀心得，並由指定的同學導讀。從修課開始就要構思自己的研究計畫，期末並需要於課堂發表研究計畫書。心得報告於上課前一晚上傳至教學wiki上。 Nknu.pbworks.com

EndnoteXIII 是一個非常好用的書目管理軟體，它的資料庫欄位格式預設了書籍、期刊論文、編輯書中的一個章節、學位論文，甚至是影像資料的格式，你可以根據文獻的種類輸入基本資料，成為個人的書目管理資料庫。一旦這些基本資料輸入存檔之後，只需按一個鍵，就可以將這筆文獻以你所想要的格式輸出。軟體中已經有APA，MLA等以及絕大多數英美期刊（有好幾百種）所規定的書目格式，你也可以自行設計一個獨特的格式。只要你輸入的資料無誤，論文參考書目的格式就不會出現拼字、標點符號、排序等錯誤。如果你同時打開Microsoft Word（Mac &window）與Endnote Library 的檔案，可以在寫作中插入此library 中的文獻，論文寫作完成之後，可以根據學術領域或期刊所規定的格式調整正文中的引用格式以及論文末之參考書目格式。
